BAM Users Are Champions !!

Band Asset Manager users were winners of “A”, “B” & “C” grades in National Brass Band Championships on both sides of the Tasman.

Congratulations to Brisbane Excelsior Band under the musical directorship of Kiwi David Bremner on taking home the Fireman’s Helmet Perpetual Trophy for winning the champion  “A” Grade Brass Band at the Australian National Band Championships in Adelaide over Easter this year.

Congratulations also to Marlborough District Brass Band for winning the Silver Cup Perpetual Trophy for champion “B” Grade Brass Band at the same Australian National Championships, as well as the John Kelly OAM Trophy for Band with the Highest Mark for Drill in the Marching Championship. Congratulations also to their Drum Major Denis Teeling who received the Jim Brill Memorial Trophy for Best Drum Major.

The BAM user winning streak continued at the NZ Brass Band Championships in Manukau in July, and we congratulate Matamata Brass for winning the Sacred Item, Set Test, and Aggregate in the “C” Grade and receiving the Ron Fenton Memorial Trophy, the Rosetown Cup, and the Lloyd Edwin Thorne QSM Trophy. Also congratulations to Matamata Musical Director Glenn Richards who received the RNZAF Wigram Band Trophy for the Conductor of the Champion “C’ Grade Band.
