Congratulations to Woolston Brass Inc who were the lucky winners of our competition at the NZ Brass Band Championships in July, receiving a free application of Band Asset Manager with the first years licence paid up.
Woolston’s General Manager Todd Turner wrote in his entry that over their 133 year history there has been a range of paper and spreadsheet solutions for asset management, with the inevitable loss of intellectual property as administrators have changed.
The Woolston organisation now has over 120 members in their bands and schools outreach programmes, and in addition to their brass instruments they have over 250 plastic student instruments to manage.
Todd considers the continuity of asset management provided by BAM will be the greatest improvement for Woolston Brass Inc, as well as the security and convenience of BAM’s fully encrypted and regularly backed-up music library.
